Isotek Power Product Demonstrations
The Listening Post has recently taken on dealership of Isotek’s award winning range of power conditioning products. Over the last few weeks, we’ve dipped our toes in the water with their Aquarius component power conditioner, Evo3 Power Cables and Polaris power board. We had genuinely been relatively impressed by our first few forays into their products
However, after meeting and talking to Bj√∂rn, Isotek’s International Product Trainer, I think it’s fair to say we all have developed a respect for their company and the way they build products.
Demonstration System
Bj√∂rn went through a process of showing us Isotek’s range in action. We set up a mid level stereo:
Rotel RA-1570 Amplifier and RCD-1570 CD Player with Paradigm Prestige 75F Speakers, we had a listen just plugged into the standard wall socket. This is a very nice sounding stereo for the room, well balanced, detailed and with a decent sound stage.
As we went through the process each logical step up Isotek’s range seemed to have a marked improvement, with better clarity, dynamics and lower noise. Right through to Isotek’s Mosaic Genesis, which is a high end active sine-wave re-generator, which even with a relatively modest system like this, seemed to make an unbelievable difference to the overall result.
