Local Business Supports Deserving Local Charity
We here at The Listening Post are proud to have supported the 2018 Sky TV Special Children’s Christmas Parties which were held at Horncastle Arena and Te Rauparaha Arena in December. Over 1800 children with life threatening illnesses, intellectual or physical disabilities or disadvantaged circumstances attended the party. It was truly an unforgettable day, filled with delicious food and drinks, bouncy castles, face painting, even a mini Disneyland. Santa even attended the event and gifted every child with a toy and several other gifts.
It is truly amazing to see what the support of local businesses, helpers, volunteers and other organisations can do. We have supported this event for very deserving children and their family’s for over a decade now, and could not be more proud to be a part of such a fantastic event.
