New Zealand is going Digital: Are you ready?
As you have probably heard, most of the South Island’s television broadcasts are switching to digital on the 28th of April. Many of you will already be ready to receive the new digital broadcasts without doing anything extra; if you are watching FreeView, Igloo, or Sky, you are already digital. If not, you will need a little bit of equipment to get the signal and continue watching TV in April.
Goingdigital.co.nz (link no longer available) has a great amount of helpful guides and information to help you get what you need to make the switch as painless as possible. There is even a program to help some of the elderly with the switchover.
