Nothing makes an AV system more irritable than RF interference. Even a system compromised of the best interconnects can be subject to it. It is the bane of dynamics and clarity. To reduce the amount of RF interference entering your system we recommend “capping” all unused RCA and XLR inputs and outputs. Why? Because a little cap to block the XLR port can greatly reduce unwanted noise and therefore the noise floor of the system. You’ll be pleasantly rewarded with a blacker background, deeper sound stage, and a richer more satisfying overall experience.
These caps can be placed on any ports. This means if you have any ports on your system not being used, simply plug these in and hear how much clearer your system gets.
