A complex design: high-class lacquered and wooden veneered cabinets, which have a trapezoid shape and are angled rearward, combined with aluminium.
The new VELA BS 404 is a full-size bookshelf speaker featuring all the great technologies and beloved design elements of the highly successful VELA series.
The design catches eyes but conduces acoustics, too. The angling of the cabinet in combination with the new waveguide of the JET tweeter improves the definition of stereo and multichannel audio in modern furnishing. But there are more than the obvious changes.
For example the optimised drivers are able to reproduce high-energy transients more precisely.
VELA BS 404 complements the existing lineup by adding a bigger brother to the more compact VELA BS 403.
JET5 tweeter
As always within the VELA line the JET5 tweeter completes the driver setup with its ease in performing and the capability to present superior air-band.
Modern Hybrid Design
VELA BS 404 features a 2-way concept in a vented cabinet with a 180 mm AS-XR woofer and a JET5 tweeter and down-firing configuration.
AS-XR technology
The woofer is equipped with powerful magnet system. This allows breath-taking performance in the low frequency range while the integrated AS-XR technology ensures highest accuracy in mid frequency range reproduction.
