Shanling Audio M0 Portable Media Player

Tiny but powerful

High-Resolution Audio Performance

The M0 is the smallest Hi-Res audio player to received the High-Resolution Audio performance certification by the Japan Audio Association.

Inside the M0, there is a multi-layered Microvia HDI board, a special high-density PCB board. Compared to ordinary PCB boards, it provides better electrical performance and helps with the signal interference that occurs in the circuit. It is this that allowed Shanling to make the M0 so small while still pushing its performance to another level. The M0 has double the power of the M1, yet its form factor has been reduced by 38%.

No Compromises in a Wireless Era

The M0 utilises Sony’s LDAC technology to support up to 96KHz/24-bit Hi-Res music files for up to 3x higher data transmission rate compared to standard Bluetooth.

Two-way Connection over Bluetooth and USB

The M0 is equipped with 2-way Bluetooth 4.1, so it can stream music to Bluetooth speakers or headphones. Not just this but it can also receive Bluetooth signals from your phone or other sources!

The flexibility doesn’t just end there! The M0 has been designed with a bidirectional Type-C USB interface so it can be used as an external DAC for your computer.

Pure Gesture Control System

The M0 uses the brand new MTouch OS developed by Shanling allowing the whole system to be fully focused on music playback, free of any redundant software affecting sound reproduction. The MTouch OS is fast, easy to use and needs just a few swipes of a finger to control it all.

Play All Types of Music

The M0 supports most of the audio formats you would ever need!

Supported formats: DSF | DFF | ISO | DXD | APE | FLAC | WAV | AIFF | AIF | DTS | MP# | WMA | AAC | OGG | ALAC | MP2 | M4A | AC3

A High End DDAC Chip

With the M0, Shanling set their goal to develop the most practical portable player while making sure it will still offer true HiFi sound. the ESS Sabre ES9218P chip is the key point to make the magic that is the M0 exist. This special Hi-Fi DAC was designed primarily for portable devices. It’s small enough to fit into the tiny size of the M0 and is efficient too. A 32-bit Sabre Quad DAC means that the small M0 can rival other dedicated Hi-Fi DAC’s and integrated headphone amplifiers offers clean and powerful output with an extremely silent background and very low output impedance.
