This in-ceiling subwoofer from OA is built for those that want no compromise when installing in-ceiling speakers. The point of custom architectural speakers are to camouflage with their surroundings, but an age old problem has been trying to subtly hide a sub which is usually bulky.
The DSUB6F68 was designed to solve this exact problem. It has a “path” for the subwoofer, allowing the main body of the subwoofer to be hidden while the output can be disguised as just another light.
This model is designed to work with the 6″ D60 and 8″ D80 Series.
But if you have a different size speaker, don’t worry there’s one for the 3″ D30 Series, 5″ D50 Series.
Features…
Subtle yet Powerful
The DSUB6F68 has a 4.25″ trim, which is designed to mimic the openings of designer home lighting, leaving a satisfying visual impression. The square and round bezel-less grille are paintable to match the most popular modern lighting fixtures.
Duelling Effort
Two aluminum woofers sit across from one another inside the subwoofer enclosure, which means the output is enhanced while distortion and cabinet vibrations are significantly reduced.
Paintable Low Profile Grille
As expected with all Origin Acoustics speakers, the DSUB6F68 delivers high performance audio while remaining completely concealed from plain sight with a sleek paintable bezel-less magnetic grille.
Passive Crossover
The DSUBF68 contains a thorough passive crossover that maintains low frequency response while passing off the appropriate mid and high frequencies to the surrounding D60 or D80 satellites.
